These terms are not negotiable or bypassable

First: The Academy's commitments and responsibilities towards its esteemed trainees:-

Brain Station Academy guarantees all trainees the following rights:
  • To ensure all trainees derive maximum scientific and practical benefit from the training content.
  • The trainer's commitment to explaining the training content fully and clearly, as outlined in the training plan during course registration.
  • Adherence to the agreed-upon schedule for training sessions, with prior notification of any unforeseen changes.
  • Adherence to professional and respectful treatment by the trainers and academy staff.
  • Access to the assigned course materials on time throughout the training period, in accordance with the terms and conditions.
  • Obtaining a certificate of attendance and course completion, subject to the specific requirements for each course.
  • The right to ask questions and interact during training or through designated support channels.
  • Protection and confidentiality of personal data in accordance with the academy's approved privacy policy.
  • Access to the deferral, resubmission, and refund policy, and the right to a refund of fees according to the published terms and conditions.

Second: Trainee Duties and Obligations:-

The trainee acknowledges and agrees to abide by the educational phase organization policy during their participation in any training program affiliated with Brain Station Academy:
  • Regular attendance at training sessions and adherence to the scheduled times are required to ensure maximum benefit from the course.
  • Completion of assigned training tasks and assignments by the specified deadlines is required to ensure continuous follow-up and support throughout the training course.
  • Registration or sharing of training content, login links, or accounts with any other party or external entity is prohibited.
  • Adherence to all academy instructions and regulations followed during the course.

Third: Terms and conditions for interactive lectures (in person or remotely):-

Refunds and cancellations are only made in the following cases:-
  • Upon successful completion of the course and full attendance and participation, trainees will receive a free 12-month subscription to the platform as a token of appreciation from Brain Station Academy.
  • Absence from more than two consecutive lectures is not permitted (without submitting the required assignments). If assignments are not submitted or more than three lectures are missed, the trainee is entitled to retake the course according to the retake policy.
  • The academy is committed to sending recorded lectures after each lecture to trainees who actively participate in attendance and applications.
  • Trainees may switch from the interactive course to the recorded course if they submit a request before the start of the fourth lecture, free of charge. (This includes a free 12-month subscription to the Brain Station platform.)
  • If a trainee does not receive a course completion certificate, they are entitled to a free 6-month subscription to the platform as a token of appreciation from Brain Station Academy to its valued trainees.

Fourth: Deferral and Fee Refund Policy:-

Postponement policy:
  • Free of charge if submitted 5 days before the start of the course (postponement is valid for 3 months from the date of application and is limited to one time only).
  • If submitted after the deadline but before the start of the second lecture, the trainee is entitled to an 85% discount on the course fee. (Postponement is valid for 3 months from the date of application and is limited to one time only).
  • If the request is submitted after the second lecture, it will be considered a retake, not a postponement, and the trainee is entitled to a 70% discount on the course fee. (Postponement is valid for 6 months only from the date of the request and is limited to one time only).
  • The trainee must pay the postponement or retake fee within 7 days of the request date to avoid automatic cancellation. The trainee will not be permitted to submit the request again.
Refund Policy:
  • The trainee is entitled to a full refund if the academy fails to comply with any of the trainee's rights clauses. (Provided the trainee adheres to the terms of the agreement.)
  • Trainees are entitled to a full refund at the end of the course if they do not benefit from it, provided they have attended regularly and completed the required projects.
  • Trainees are entitled to a full refund if they submit their application 7 days before the start of the course, with no administrative fees.
  • If a refund request is submitted before the first lecture, the trainee is entitled to a refund of 85% of the agreed course fee.
  • If a refund request is submitted after the first lecture but before the second lecture, the trainee is entitled to a refund of 65% of the agreed course fee.
  • If a refund request is submitted before the start of the third lecture, the trainee is entitled to a 35% refund of the agreed course fee. [After the start of the third lecture, the trainee is not entitled to a refund.]
Notes:
  • The trainee is entitled to choose one of the available options only once: "either postponement or refund".
    • In the case of postponement, "the academy is committed to the cost or discounts agreed upon during the original booking without any changes, if any".
    • In case of a refund, the amount will be refunded as stated above. If the trainee wishes to book again, the academy is not bound by any prior agreement or price, and the booking will be at the prices available at the time of booking.
